Athlon 64 outperforms and uses less power than Atom?

A lot of people have talked about this and it is interesting. The problem is the two processors are on different motherboard architectures, one designed for tiny computers and one for desktops. If they compared two with the same motherboard architecture then it would be a little more practical.
Uh, the Sempron outperforms the Atom as well, and it is certainly used in notebooks as a notebook style chip.
Oh, but the Atom means you can have a Centrino sticker. Can’t get that with a Sempron.
