Burning movies?

I shot some .avi video with my video camera of some family events and want to burn those videos to DVD so relatives can play them on a DVD player. What is a good program to do that with?

All I need to make is a simple menu and then start the video.
convertXtodvd is fantastic imo.
great menu customization and alot of presetup templates
where all u do is drag-drop type in the title and hit convert/burn whichs does it all.
I’d probably say nero. It’s easy e-nuff to use, and has a fair few options.

Good program. A few clicks and you’re done.

But, any DVD maker program will do what you need.

Which Nero is it. I tried using Nero lastnight, seemed to work. Got the DVD done, put it in the DVD player.. and couldn’t read it.

Can someone maybe give some steps on nero or screen shots?

Tahnks
Did you use Vision or did you just throw the AVI’s on a data DVD and call it a day?

It said it was encoding it… took 2 or so hours.. Did it’s process… then spit the DVD out.

I was going to mess with it somemore but would like to get it figured out before i use up somemore DVD’s on trail and error
Download DVD Flick. Its simple. Its opensource.
A guide on using it can be found here:

I’d check it on your own computer DVD player first. Some consumer DVD players don’t play burnt DVD’s.

Good advice right ther.

I dont think that is the case.. I was watching burned DVD of Family Guy all weekend
how old is the player then? These days most players will play all the formats, but I know the older players did not.
look the dvd player up on videohelp.com and see what formats it plays
Great news…! It WORKED! DVDFlick is awsome. I started right before i went to bed.. woke up this morning with a new DVD.

It didnt work the first time because my hard drive did not have enough space on it.

I recommend DVDFlick to everyone. So simple
