Can’t download torrents
I can’t download any torrents, I’m on a university wireless connection, at one of the libraries, and i can’t seem to get any torrents to work. i can’t ping the trackers, utorrent says the trackers are offline but they’re not (i can see the website and the list of seeders/leechers), any idea?
you’re school’s network is most likely blocking that stuff. if it is, you aren’t going to get help here bypassing your school’s security.
this is not a work around of your school’s restrictions, but it is possible to download torrents at another location that has access (ie your dorm, your off campus home) using a remote computer, and then sftp the results to your computer in the library.
