Dependency service or group failed to start
Hi, Im trying to fix someones computer that has the above error. The computer was able to connect to the internet no problem yesterday, however today when trying to connect to any network this error appears.
The computer is running: Windows Vista Home Premium
manufacturer: HP
I’ve tried going to the event viewer and seeing if there was any distinctive items that should be turned on, however im not sure what im supposed to look for.
I’ve also tried going to cmd and running sfc/scannow and it has worked for some people but I get the error "Verification 100% complete. Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them."
Im not sure what else to try! Please help. Thanks so much.
Well for starters, check which services are set to Automatic and have not started.
