Easiest way to upgrade laptop hard drive?
I have this 60GB in my Lenovo x60s that I want to get rid of for this, a 320GB:
What’s the easiest way to upgrade? I suppose I could plug the old drive into my desktop, "acquire" Norton Ghost and clone the old to the new, then stick it in my laptop.
Laptop drives don’t fit into desktops — the cables are different. You could buy an external 2.5" enclosure to hook the old drive up to your computer via usb, ghost it, then plop the image on the new drive also via the enclosure.

Although … my post is pre-SATA, I haven’t dealt with SATA laptop drives.. I guess it’s possible that they ARE the same size.
