Good 17" laptop cooler
anyone have any personal experiences with any coolers?
vantec lapcool2. it cost me ~35 on newegg and it has a 4 port usb hub. should be 20 without the hub. its great for my 15.4” but should work fine for anything bigger as well, but as mine does, your laptop will hang over the sides of the cooler, but its not really a problem cuz i think thats how its supposed to be. plus there are rubber feet to keep your laptop from sliding and little legson the bottom to tilt your laptop towards you. there are 2 fans and a wheel to adjust their speed, along with an on/off switch and a power adapter to power thethe USB hub (it shouldn’t be powered by your laptop if you have lots of stuff plugged in) or the power adapter is useful if don’t want to plug the cooler into your laptop for powering the fans
the unit is smaller than the base of a 17” laptop, like i said. just checkthe measurements, but i wouldnt midn it if my laptop was that size, especially if i wasn’t moving it around often.
