Help with repackaging an extension in a Firefox installer

Here is the installer I created/repackaged:

Now if you install that, you’ll notice that all of the extensions install just fine, except for one: PriceAdvance. Actually, it seems to install fine too, but it needs to be updated (right-click and choose "Find Update" from the AddOns menu in FF and it works fine).

Now my problem is that I can’t get my hands on the XPI (or JAR) file that is downloaded. I spent a while looking for it last night, and I can’t find that shit anywhere. Anyone know where I might find the most recent copy of the XPI or JAR file so I can add this to my installer?

PS-
Before anyone gives me shit for stamping my name on someone else’s installer, I don’t intend to keep it like that. I just have that there because I had originally written my own MSI installer, but this guy has a more efficient one with a smaller file size.

PPS-
This installer is intended to be run in an unattended environment. The GUI is just a convenience that I added for techs that install this manually so that they know when the installer itself starts and ends. In other words, I don’t give a shit if user interaction is lacking; that’s not its purpose.
Is this the extension your talking about??

Just right click the "Add to FireFox" button and save as.

i’m pretty stoned, so i might be waaay of
That’s the version I’m using. But after installing the extension, it doesn’t work until you go to the Extensions menu in Firefox, and then right-click it and choose "Find Update." So it’s retrieving an update that hasn’t been posted to Mozilla.org. I want to package it with that update.

I have another extension with the same problem, but if I figure out how to solve this one, then I can figure out the other one too … at least that’s what I assume.
Why not just edit the version number on that one, and edit the max version so that it works with ff3.1?

that way when it’s installed in Addon’s it will just work…

Ok i’ve checked it and it’s saying that the max version is 3.0pre. So you can only use it in it’s default way in ff 3.0pre release.

I’ve just edited it and now the max version is 3.0.9

here i’ve uploaded it again, give this one a try.

install it into Addons restart ff3.1 and it will of installed not requring you to look for updates.

it’s icon will appear bottom right of the screen.

Then test it out by going to and search for something and you’ll notice the little icon becomes active then a box will appear showing you different prices for the item you looked up.
