I just bought a UPS
I know, thats how I feel, my computar is now protected from the evil power villians
and I thought that Belkin Surge protector I just bought yesterday was badass

I need to get a new one, was thinking of the APC 1500VA. The one I currently have hooked up is on old cheap-ass APC. In my apartment, if my computer is running and my girlfriend uses her blowdryer, out goes the power to half the apartment. My UPS lasts only seconds if that, pretty much instant off.
maybe a new battery could help

i like it when i go to a lan party and the power goes out and everyone is like "awwww man" and i’m sitting there playing by myself.
The output on the thing is wayyy to low anyway. I would be better off just getting a new one.
Hmm the file corruption thing is what I care about.. darn.
It seems like nothing can out-right eliminate it
other than a UPS to keep the comp up for a few mins..
