New monitor looks like shit…
Acer AL1916 LCD 19"…
I installed the driver and everything.. Text is all fuzzy and distorted looking. I know its the monitor because I just switched from an old CRT 17" Dell. Help please!

Is it a DVI monitor, by any chance? The difference between VGA and DVI is night and day, I could never go back. It’s almost as big a difference as going from a CRT to an LCD.
nope its not DVI.. i didnt know DVI exists until i researched it after you said something.. now you got me disappointed at what i bought lol.
might have to go buy a DVI LCD now.. ah well.. i guess im gonna have to get this one
