Noob here. I can’t figure out how to get smooth scrolling.
I’m using a Toshiba A75-S209 and when I scroll down a page in my web browser with the mouse wheel, it’s really choppy. How do I change it to make it smooth scrolling?
I’ve had this machine reformatted in the past, and when I look in the Display options, Settings tab, Advanced, Adapter tab, there is no information under "Adapter Information." Chip Type: <unavailable> along with everything else (CHIP Type, DAC Type, Memory Size, etc).

first, check if smooth scrolling is enabled of course.
iirc, firefox has it disabled, and IE and Opera has it enabled by default.
then uninstall/install your display driver
yep you have no directX drive installed for your vid card install a drive and your issue will be fxied
