Performance difference?
Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 (2Ghz/667Mhz FSB/2MB Cache)
vs
Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 (2.1Ghz/800Mhz FSB/3MB Cache)
I know one is clearly better than the other, but would I notice a difference? Is it worth an additional $125 on the price of a computer?
Obviously. Trying to cut a few costs. I’m already splurging for the Blu Ray drive and 128GB SSD in a Dell XPS M1530.
Mine just got replaced. Report one day, they come out the next and replace mobo. I had a thread posted somewhere around here.

So is this something I should be concerned about?
not worth the difference in cost, you won’t notice any speed difference

T8100 has more cache and faster FSB.
Faster FSB = good
More cache = good
But it’s up to you. Personally, I’d shell out the extra $125.
T8100 is 45nm, while the T5750 is 65nm
T8100 will run cooler and have less power draw
it’s worth it, imo
getting power saving for laptops own. That’s why i got the M1330 when it came out b/c of the LCD screen. with the extended battery, It runs great.
Well, you get a warranty. If you wait for a new model, that model might have a problem as well.
