VoIP handset needed
I’m looking for a VoIP handset (not headset, I want something that looks similar to a phone) that when plugged into the computer functions as a separate audio device. It must function as a seperate audio device without skype installed or other non driver software installed…
My work just provided me with a Cisco IP Communicator setup and put an extension off the PBX on that, but the headset they gave me plugs into my headphone jack on my laptop and I don’t want to sit around with this damn headset on all the time to hear if my extension rings.
I’ve never used skype before, they may all function this way as far as I know…
The plantronics one is pretty good, and the boom BT headset is one of the best ones out there.
