Windows Live error page (404)
If I enter a bad url, I get redirected to a Windows Live search screen with a bunch of sponsored links. I’ve never used Live in my life.
I think it has to do with recently switching to comcast, but I am not sure.
Does anyone know how to get the old style error pages?
I tried Internet Options -> Advanced -> and "Show Friendly HTTP Error Messages" is un-checked.
Found it after quite a few google searches. Doesn’t look like we have many options.
Cliffs: Live! is falling in search rankings, so they are artifically trying to get hits via redirects.
